Just Believe

And I just want to say in the beginning of the year in this first month of the year God is saying you for us to simply,  just believe. And this is just a familiar passage of scripture for those of you who have been in church before. We’ve heard it preached, taught in various different ways with various illustrations. Talking about the man who brings his son to the disciple but they are unable to cast out the demon that has been trying to torment and take his child life. And the man is so desperate that he goes and he runs and he brings his child to the disciples of Jesus and they are not able to cast the devil out. And he takes the child and he is trying to get his child to Jesus and he is frustrated with the process. And he comes to Him and Jesus says unto him that all things are possible to them that believe. He begins to tell him that all things are possible, if you just believe that this can be done. And I just hear the Lord say it can be done.  And I just want you to know that no matter what you are going through, it doesn’t matter what your process is, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in your process, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been burdened down, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been sick. God says if you would just belive. And I want you know that I n this hour God is calling for the church to rise up and take God at His word. God is calling for the church to rise up and to take on the posture of faith and to say with confidence that they believe. This is not everyday average faith here; this is unwavering faith, this is the faith that says in the face of opposition, “I do not care what it looks like I believe that it is going to be so.”

What I want to note about this passage of scripture is that this man is in a place of desperation. And I hear the Lord say as you get desperate for what you are seeking Him for that it is going to cause your faith to come to the next level. As you get desperate for change, as you get desperate for breakthrough, as you get desperate for healing, as you get desperate to be debt free it is going to push you to the point of faith. This man got so deperate. When you’ve done ran to everybody who you thought could do it. When you thought mommy can do it, and the job can do it, and a new career could do it and another degree could do it, you find out that those things that you went to before you went to God. Those natural things that you went seeking after. You went hoping that those natural things can satisfy a spiritual desire; hoping that they can pacify a urgent desire. But there are some things that are loose, things just like this child they are young in nature. They are immature and we are not able to shake it, we are not able to control it and when you find issues and situations in your life that you are not able to control then you are going to have to cast that care on the Lord.

You know the Lord was dealing with me and he was telling me about casting my cares on Him because He careth for me. And I was struggling with it because I began to look at the cares of life. Sometimes your care can be your children, it can be your wife, it can be your husband, it can be your career , it could be your finances and the Lord said that you have to name your care and cast it on Him. You got to begin to take thouse things which consume your thoughts and your patterns and begin to cast it on Him. Just because you call it a child; God calls it a care. You call it a bill but God calls it a care, you call it a marriage but God calls it a care, you call it a business but God calls it a care, you call it a ministry but God calls it a care. God says that it doesn’t matter what it is God says cast it on Him because He careth for you.  What we find here is that this man was desperate. Isn’t it something that in this hour you’ve got to be desperate. Your desperation cannot be just for you alone. You have got to see this man’s sacrifice. God will touch the things that you love to make you desperate for Him, God will touch the thing that you love to make you seek after him God, God will touch the thing that love looking for Him to make a way out. And that is what this man was he had a child, that he loved, that he cared about, but he could not help. Isn’t it just like us we are in situations we just cannot help. We are in circumstances that are beyond our control but God says will you use your faith, my God. You are going to have to take your faith and apply it. You are going to have to take your faith and say that you are going to trust God. You are going to have to take your faith and say it is possible, Jesus said unto him, if though canst believe. This lets you know it takes an ability, a desire to believe that you can have the things you desire when you pray.

Doesn’t the Bible say you have to have the faith to believe what you are asking God to do?  You’ve got to begin this first month of this year simply telling God I believe it, I know that it is possible, I know that you can do this thing for me. Right where you are, right in the middle of this blog you need to tell God I believe you can do this. Right while you are reading this you need to throw your hands up and tell God I believe. Its in your belief, its in your desire, its in your that you are going to provoke God to step off the throne and begin to move for you.  You are going to begin to cause God to empower you, you are going to cause God to speak into your life. You are going to cause God to move by His spirit in your situation but, you have got to believe. Oh, I know its hard, I know your situation looks crazy, I know you feel like you are boxed in, but if you just believe, come on here. Your belief is your key to get your way out.

You belief is the thing that will tear the roof off. It is your ability to believe. He said if thou canst believe all things are possible. Can you believe it? Can you break it down? Can you let the devil know that he cannot hem you up? Can you let the enemy know that God is doing it? Can you let the enemy know just because God hasn’t came yet doesn’t mean that He’s not coming? I wish somebody will just get a breath down in their diaphragm, open up their mouth and give God praise right there. You didn’t even know you’ve got to get in there so that he can see that your faith is in action. And the Bible says that He inhabits the praises of His people. As you begin to give God praise right in the middle of your circumstance you are going to provoke to come.  And when God come you need to get a breath down in your diaphragm and just scream God I believe you. God I trust you God. God I’m going to take you at your word. No matter how crazy it looks God. No matter how bad it seems God. No matter what people say God. I believe you!! God is questioning you today, can you believe it? Can you take me at my word?  Do you feel that I’m faithful?  Do you know that I’m mighty? Do you believe that I have all power and authority in my hands that I can do this thing for you. Right where you are right in the middle of this blog, right in the middle of your press, right in the middle of your test, right in the middle of your frustration, right in the middle of your anger, tell Him, God I believe.

How does Jesus respond when you begin to tell him that you believe? He begins to say listen, all things. This year, in 2011, it is not some things but ALL things. It’s time for you to get all of it; not a piece of the pie but the whole pie. It time for you to get desperate enough that God , I’m tired of a slice, I’m tired of not being satisfied, I’m tired of feeling unfulfilled, I’m tired of not having real joy, I’m tired of having preliminary and false peace I want it all. Come on here. Aren’t you tired of having joy and not peace?  Aren’t you tired of having word and not power? Aren’t you tired of going to church with no demonstration of His power or no worship? It’s time to say I want it all. It’s time to have praise and worship. It’s time to have joy and peace. It’s time to have church and manifestation. It’s time to have faith and wisdom.  It’s time for us to have the whole thing. It’s time for the combination platter.  You have got to say it’s not enough, I’m tired of having portions. When that portion is over I am still unfulfilled. When that portion is over is I feel fretful. I feel that it is not possible. I feel like I’m settling. I feel like I’m compromising. God says not this year.

He says that all things are possible to Him that believes. What God is trying to tell you is that your manifestation is connected to your belief. It’s not enough in this season to know scripture, its not enough to know prophetic word, it’s not enough to memorize what somebody told you if you do not believe it. In this hour you have got to believe that you know. You have got to believe it and receive it as truth. He is telling you that all things is possible to them that believe so you have to say God I believe that is so. It is possible for me to have my business. It is possible for me to have a whole marriage. It is possible for me to find my spouse. It is possible for me to complete school. It is possible for me to grow my business. It is possible for me to develop in ministry. It is possible for me fulfill the call and the destiny of God for my life. Why? because I believe; because I believe Him. Who is this Him that I believe? Jesus, the Christ, the son of the living God, the Way, the Truth and the Life. I believe, oh God that no matter what my problem is you are the solution. I believe, oh God that no matter what the test is you are the answer. I believe that no matter what I am weak in you are my strength. I believe that regardless of what darkness that I am in that you are the Light. I believe, come on here. If you just believe on today it is possible for you to have it. It is possible for you to dream it. It is possible for you to be it, but you have to believe.

That is the message that God is sending us in 2011. You have got to believe that this is your year of manifestation. You have got to believe that this is your year of peace. You have got to believe that this is your year of joy. You have got to believe that this is your year for relationship. You have got to believe that this is your year that God is strengthening your communication. You have got to believe that is the year that you are going to be healed. You have got to believe that this is the year that you are going to be healthy emotionally, spiritually and naturally. You got to believe it. You’ve got to believe it. Why? God said it. Why do I have to believe what God said? God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should repent, good God Almighty. I believe it because He doesn’t have the ability to lie, it is not a part of His character, it is not a part of who He is. It is not possible and you have got to believe it. You have got to believe that what God says is good. You have got to believe that what God says is right. You got to believe that what God says is true and that it is possible. So, what is the word for 2011? That all things are possible to them that believe. God comes to question you: do you believe Him? Can thou believe that you can have a better life? I believe it God.

Can you believe that things are changing and working in your favor? I believe God. Can you believe that it is well with your children and your life? I believe all things. You got to tell Him that you want it all. I hear God say all or nothing. He say that you are going to have to put it all on the line this year. You have tell God, I’m putting the marriage, I’m putting the children, I’m putting the career, I’m putting the business, I’m putting the ministry, I’m putting everything out there God I’m going to believe you for it all. If you got two businesses believe Him for both of them. You’ve got to say God I’ve got nothing else to lose God this year I’m giving it everything I got. Come on, I believe that you are going to turn the ministry around. I believe that you are going to fill the house. I believe God that we are going to build the building. I believe God that you are going to heal my body. Whatever it is that you are believing God for God says whatever need it is time to believe Him. God I don’t just believe for the mortgage I believe you for the insurance. I believe you for the light bill and the gas bill. I believe you for food, God, I believe. That is all He wants to know. Can you believe? Can you take Him at His word?  Do you believe that His word is true?  Do you believe His word is right? Do you believe that He has the power and the authority to do it?

I just want to encourage you in this first part of the year, in this first month to believe God; to take God at His word and know that all things are possible to them that believe. I want you to know that if you believe it is going to manifest. If you believe it God is going to meet you right at your point of need.  If you believe it God is going to use you as a billboard of His blessings. If you believe it you are going to be a manifestation of His miracles. Now it is up to you: will you believe?
